Our Story
I had been in an on and off again relationship with a guy that I had dated for about 6 years. Around Thanksgiving I found out that he had also been dating another girl for the past year (that's a whole other story!). Realizing I needed to move on, I went into a month long shopping spree which ended with my roomate telling me I should sign up for Yahoo! personals. I thought it was rather silly, but what did I really have to lose? So I signed up on Christmas night that year. The next morning I woke up to a new message from Todd. We talked on the phone almost every day for hours at a time. Finally after 3 weeks I agreed to meet him. We met at Applebees in Concord and I brought 4 of my closest friends with me. I figured that if this guy could survive a dinner with 5 total strangers, than he was worth a shot. Well, in the end that first date lasted from Friday night until Monday morning and we've been together ever since!
